The Lodi Academy Titans suffered their biggest defeat since November 28, 2023 on Thursday. They were dealt a 71-31 loss at the hands of Stockton Christian. Lodi Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-15.
Several Titans players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ty Zinke, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds. Winston Dos Reis was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with two steals.
It was another big night for Brandon Williams, who scored 24 points for Stockton Christian. Williams is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Corbin Moore, who scored 12 points.
Lodi Academy are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-5. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 26.3 points per game. As for Stockton Christian, they pushed their record up to 9-4 with that win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.
Lodi Academy on the road again on Sunday and play against Fresno Adventist Academy at 12:00 p.m. on January 14th. As for Stockton Christian, they will challenge Delta Charter at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
