The North College Hill Trojans lost to the Lockland Panthers back in November of 2022, but the North College Hill Trojans didn't allow the Lockland Panthers the same satisfaction on Wednesday. North College Hill had just enough and edged the Panthers out 36-33.
Several Panthers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jaylah Smith, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds. Smith hasn't dropped below two blocks for nine straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Liselle Bradford, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds and four steals.
North College Hill's win bumped their record up to 4-13. As for Lockland, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-15.
North College Hill has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome the Jaguars at 1:00 p.m. on January 27th. Shroder Paideia Academy is no doubt hoping to put an end to a six-game streak of away losses. As for Lockland, they will head out on the road to square off against the Knights at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
