The Incline Highlanders will take on the Battle Mountain Longhorns at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication,  the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Perhaps the best among them was   Tommy Williams, who rushed for 27 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 96 yards and a touchdown on only nine passes. Another rusher making a difference was  Aidan Midgley, who rushed for 101 yards and a touchdown on only six carries.
 Incline's defense stepped up as well, laying out   Adrian Griffith. four times. West Wendover's QB  won't forget  Alex Finne anytime soon given he sacked him twice. Finne is also on a roll when it comes to  total tackles, as he's  now  made five or more in the last three games he's  played dating back to last season.
 Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Incline was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 318  rushing yards. That's the most  rushing yards they've posted  was before  the start of last season.
 Meanwhile, Battle Mountain took their  match at home  last Thursday with ease, bagging  a  42-7 victory over North Tahoe. Given the Longhorns' advantage  in MaxPreps' football rankings in their respective home states  (they are ranked 69th in Nevada, while the Lakers are ranked 1040th in California), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 Incline's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Battle Mountain, they now  have a winning record of 3-2.
 Incline didn't have too much breathing room in their  matchup against Battle Mountain  in their previous matchup  back in November of 2023, but they still walked away with  a  21-16 victory.
