Wellington won the last time they faced Clearwater and things went their way on Thursday too. The Crusaders were the clear victors by a 13-3 margin over the Indians. The Crusaders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by eight runs or more this season.

Wellington has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Clearwater, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-4-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wellington will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Mulvane on the 28th. As for Clearwater, they will host Andale on Thursday.
