The Roosevelt Roughriders put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They strolled past Lincoln with points to spare, taking the game 76-57. Given Roosevelt's advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 17th, while Lincoln is ranked 132nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Roosevelt's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jalen Dollar, who scored 22 points. Caden Young was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
Roosevelt's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Lincoln, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Roosevelt won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Skyline at 7:30 p.m. on December 9th. As for Lincoln, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Evergreen at 1:00 p.m. on December 9th. One thing working in Evergreen's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
