The New Milford Green Wave will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against the Danbury Hatters at 6:00 p.m. on December 26th. Danbury took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on New Milford, who comes in off a win.
Even though New Milford has not done well against Kolbe-Cathedral recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. New Milford secured a 51-46 W over Kolbe-Cathedral.
Meanwhile, Danbury fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Bridgeport Central on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 57-56 to the Hilltoppers. Danbury has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
The victory got New Milford back to even at 2-2. As for Danbury, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 2-2.
New Milford was able to grind out a solid victory over Danbury in their previous matchup back in December of 2022, winning 58-50. The rematch might be a little tougher for New Milford since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
