Murphysboro came tearing into Monday's matchup with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.3 points), and they left with even more momentum. They breezed past the Cairo Pilots to the tune of 77-34. The Red Devils have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 21 points or more this season.

Murphysboro pushed their record up to 23-4 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.8 points over those games. As for Cairo, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 11-15 record this season.
