The Natalia Mustangs can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past San Isidro 37-35. The victory was just what Natalia needed coming off of a 55-32 defeat in their prior match.
Among those leading the charge was Abby Fulton, who scored 15 points along with 9 rebounds and 5 steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now stole two or more in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Yahdi Lujan, who scored 10 points along with 7 steals and 5 rebounds.
Natalia's win bumped their record up to 7-8. As for San Isidro, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-7.
Natalia's road trip will continue as they head out to face Charlotte at 10:15 a.m. on December 9th. As for San Isidro, they will take on Pleasanton at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
