Johnson has been on the road for six straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Rowe-Clark Masai Lions at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
Last Thursday, Johnson was able to grind out a solid victory over Butler, taking the game 67-54.
Meanwhile, Rowe-Clark scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They secured a 67-63 W over Bulls College Prep. With that victory, Rowe-Clark brought their scoring average up to 51.2 points per game.
Rowe-Clark's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Arnez Jones, who dropped a double-double on 30 points and 14 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Jones has scored all season. Artez Jones was another key contributor, scoring 19 points along with six rebounds and two blocks.
Johnson has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 contests, which provided a massive bump to their 10-7 record this season. As for Rowe-Clark, their victory bumped their record up to 3-8.
Everything went Johnson's way against Rowe-Clark in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 as Johnson made off with a 64-43 win. Does Johnson have another victory up their sleeve, or will Rowe-Clark turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
