Plainwell scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They came up short against the Paw Paw Red Wolves, falling 72-49. The loss continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Red Wolves: they've now lost three in a row.

Plainwell's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Paw Paw, they pushed their record up to 3-1 with the win, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Plainwell will be home for the holidays to greet Kalamazoo Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Paw Paw, they will host Olivet at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Paw Paw knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Olivet likes a good challenge.
