There's no place like home for the Dawson Bulldogs, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Tuesday. They put the hurt on Hubbard with a sharp 64-40 victory on Friday. With that victory, Dawson brought their scoring average up to 50.6 points per game.
Dawson had a senior duo take command as Hastin Easley scored 25 points and Elijah Allen scored 22 points. Allen continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.
Dawson has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. As for Hubbard, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-11.
Dawson will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Axtell at 6:30 p.m. As for Hubbard, they will head out on the road to face off against Marlin at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Marlin is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last seven games.
