Ethel has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will challenge the Noxapater Tigers at 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Last Saturday, Ethel suffered a tough 74-48 defeat at the hands of the Falcons.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Zantavius Clark, who scored 19 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. X'zavius Merritt was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.
Meanwhile, Noxapater's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They were dealt a 71-34 defeat at the hands of Nanih Waiya. Noxapater has not had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Ethel's loss was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Noxapater, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season.
Ethel and the Tigers were neck-and-neck in their previous meeting last Friday, but the Tigers came up empty-handed after a 46-45 defeat. Can Ethel avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
