The Webster Warriors's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They took a serious blow against Warner, falling 67-29. While losing is never fun, Webster can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 388th, while Warner is ranked 142nd).
Despite the loss, Webster still got an impressive performance from Amondre Davis, who scored ten points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Webster struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only three offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Webster's loss was their 18th straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 2-12. As for Warner, their win bumped their record up to 8-5.
Webster does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Warner will play host again and welcome Westville, where tip off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
