For Washington, this counts as revenge for the 14-12 loss Mount Paran Christian walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2022.
Washington can attribute much of their success to Cornelius Kemp, who rushed for 107 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries, and also caught a touchdown.
When it comes to explaining why Mount Paran Christian lost on Saturday, one person who can't be blamed is Hank Stevens. Despite the final result, he rushed for 126 yards.
Washington's victory bumped their record up to 3-8. As for Mount Paran Christian, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.
Washington will head out on the road to face off against Rockmart at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Rockmart has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 300 points over their last six matchups. Mount Paran Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
