Brennan Lindner Delivers Best Performance of Season
Brennan Lindner produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Pleasanton to the win on Friday. Lindner rushed for 123 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries, and also threw for 177 yards and two touchdowns, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an impressive 69 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Sandhills Valley took down Arcadia/Loup City on Friday, a win that might not have happened without Leyton Connell's performance. Connell did his part (and then some), rushing for 73 yards and a touchdown, while also throwing for 75 yards and two touchdowns for the 'W'.
On the year, Connell has thrown 14 touchdowns while averaging 143.1 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 4.14 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 51.57 rushing yards.
