Basketball Recap: Arbor View's Losing Streak Snapped at Eight Games

Arbor View's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 57-36 margin over the Southeast Career Tech Roadrunners. The win was some much needed relief for the Aggies as it spelled an end to their eight-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Arbor View's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Annesia Jackson led the charge by going 8 of 15 en route to 17 points in addition to seven rebounds and four steals. The dominant performance gave Jackson a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Araya Davis, who went 5 of 12 on her way to 10 points, to go along with six rebounds and four steals.

Southeast Career Tech's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Mila Vidacic, who posted ten points, to go along with five boards and four steals, and Marlie Wright, who had four points.

Arbor View's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Southeast Career Tech, they now also have a losing record at 1-2.
