Pinson Valley got a good showing from Kirby Reddick, who pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits. What's more, Reddick gave up only zero walks, the fewest he's had since back in February.

At the plate, Jaylon Sharpe and Nathan Lewis did some serious damage despite the final result: Sharpe scored a run and stole three bases while going 2-for-3, while Lewis got on base in all three of his plate appearances with three stolen bases. Those three stolen bases gave Lewis a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Justice Lockwood, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.
Meanwhile, after only two runs in their last game, Parker made sure to put some runs up on the board against Carver Birmingham on Friday. Parker put the hurt on Carver Birmingham with a sharp 14-4 victory. The Thundering Herd might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by nine runs or more this season.
Nicolas Page was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing five bases while going 2-for-3. Parker is undefeated when Page posts two or more runs, but 7-9 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Terrion Nevels, who scored three runs and stole four bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
Parker was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .478. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Parker has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-9 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.2 runs over those games. Pinson Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 7-14.
Parker's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Pinson Valley hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .324. It's a different story for Parker, though, as they've only averaged .229. Will they be able to contain Pinson Valley's hitters?
