Milburn is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now stolen at least one in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyle Richardson, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-6.
The victory got Joliet Central back to even at 2-2-1. As for Crete-Monee, the win also got them back to even at 2-2.
Joliet Central skirted past Crete-Monee 7-5 in their previous matchup back in March of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Joliet Central since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
