Richwood has been on the road for four straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Bastrop Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Richwood knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past eight contests -- so hopefully Bastrop likes a good challenge.
Richwood pushed their score all the way to 56 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 57-56 to Ringgold.
Meanwhile, Bastrop lost to Union Parish at home by a decisive 66-49 margin on Friday.
Richwood's loss dropped their record down to 14-9. As for Bastrop, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-17.
Everything came up roses for Richwood against Bastrop in their previous meeting back in November of 2023 as the team secured a 61-27 win. Does Richwood have another victory up their sleeve, or will Bastrop turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
