Even though the Juab Wasps have not done well against the Delta Rabbits recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Juab came out on top against Delta by a score of 51-38. This was payback for Juab, who suffered a 51-47 loss the last time these two teams met.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Juab to victory, but perhaps none more so than Addison Hyatt, who scored 15 points along with six rebounds. Those 15 points set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was Emmy Lovell, who scored 14 points along with five assists and five rebounds.
Juab's victory bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Delta, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Juab will take on Richfield at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Utah (Richfield is ranked 26th, while Juab is ranked 44th). As for Delta, they will be playing at home against Canyon View at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
