Tommy Digregorio Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Tommy Digregorio produced his most outstanding game to date while leading St. Joseph-by-the-Sea to the win on Friday. Digregorio rushed for 273 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.0 yards per carry. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (100.3) per game. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 70-yard run.
St. Joseph-by-the-Sea is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. Digregorio and St. Joseph-by-the-Sea will face off against Kennedy Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Big Game from Bowers As St. John the Baptist Won 49-12
St. John the Baptist's three-game losing streak is now nothing but a memory thanks in part to Maxwell Bowers. Bowers turned in nothing short of a gem on Saturday, throwing for 179 yards and three touchdowns on only 17 passes, while also rushing for 50 yards.
For the year, Bowers has thrown 9 touchdowns while averaging 144.2 passing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 91.17 passing yards per game.

Aruta Came Up Big in St. Peter's 31-28 Victory
St. Peter found a leader in Marco Aruta as the squad took down Archbishop Stepinac on Friday. Aruta was dynamite, rushing for 87 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries, while also picking up 51 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Aruta is probably looking forward to his next game, a home matchup against Fordham Prep on Saturday. Aruta rushed for 151 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries the last time he and the Rams duked it out back in November of 2023.

Jonathan Bailey's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Fordham Prep over Monsignor Farrell
Jonathan Bailey posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 103 yards on only seven carries, and also threw for 127 yards and a touchdown.
On the season, Bailey has thrown 9 touchdowns while averaging 166.4 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after five games last season, he was only averaging 17.6 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 32.8 rushing yards.
