The Midessa Warriors will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against the Midland Texas Leadership Charter Academy Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on December 19th. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Friday, Midessa was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 44-43 to Compass Academy.
Meanwhile, Midland Texas Leadership Charter Academy was beaten by Hermleigh 68-29 on Friday.
Despite the loss, Midland Texas Leadership Charter Academy saw an underclassman step up: Victor Carrasco scored four points along with six rebounds and three steals. Those three steals set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Beaux Turner, who scored seven points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Midessa now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Midland Texas Leadership Charter Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.
Everything came up roses for Midessa against Midland Texas Leadership Charter Academy when the teams last played back in January as the team secured a 72-13 victory.
