Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Paschal). They breezed by the South Hills Scorpions to the tune of 61-12 on Tuesday. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 650th, while the Scorpions are ranked 1304th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win got Paschal back to even at 6-6. As for South Hills, their defeat was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-9.

Paschal will challenge Trimble Tech at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for South Hills, they will head out on the road to take on Polytechnic at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
