The Alice Coyotes scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They blew past Harmony School of Excellence 80-50 at home. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 47-18.
It was another big night for Alejandro Asevedo, who scored 26 points along with four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Calvin Villanueva was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with two steals.
Alice is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-8 record this season. As for Harmony School of Excellence, they dropped their record down to 9-13 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Tuloso-Midway the next time they take the court. Harmony School of Excellence will head out to face Tuloso-Midway at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, while Alice will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
