North Duplin had to skate by with only a two-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 49-point drubbing they dealt Union on Friday. The North Duplin Rebels breezed past the Union Spartans to the tune of 64-15. The Rebels have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matches by 21 points or more this season.

Tateyawna Faison was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double with 27 points and ten boards. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lilly Fulghum, who posted nine points and four steals.

North Duplin smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 24 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards every time they've taken the court this season.

Despite the loss, Union still got an impressive performance from ZADARIYAH FAISON, who put up six points. That was a full 40% of Union's points, marking the ninth time in a row she's had more than a third of the team's points.

North Duplin's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-4. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.3 points over those games. As for Union, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 2-16 record this season.

North Duplin has already played their next game, a 47-16 win against Rosewood on the 10th. As for Union, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 42-24 victory against Hobbton on the 10th.
