Columbia Academy has been on the road for two straight, but on Thursday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Woodlawn Prep Wolfpack at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Columbia Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Last Tuesday, Columbia Academy came up short against Park Place Christian Academy and fell 66-53.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Woodlawn Prep beat Lumberton 51-45 on Tuesday.
Woodlawn Prep got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Cole Sinclair out in front who scored 17 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which Sinclair has scored at least 25% of Woodlawn Prep's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Drayson Patterson, who scored 14 points.
Lamar Christian's win bumped their season record to 0-0 while Columbia Academy's loss dropped theirs to 1-3.
Columbia Academy strolled past Woodlawn Prep in their previous matchup back in January by a score of 47-33. Will Columbia Academy repeat their success, or does Woodlawn Prep have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
