The Waukegan Bulldogs can finally bid farewell to their seven-game losing streak thanks to their game on Wednesday. They secured a 52-48 W over Niles North. The victory was just what Waukegan needed coming off of a 63-32 loss in their prior match.
Leading Waukegan to victory were Hadassah Brown and Aaliaya Cade. Brown scored 21 points, while Cade scored 26 points. The contest was Brown 's fourth in a row with at least ten points.
Waukegan's victory bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Niles North, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.
Waukegan's road trip will continue as they head out to face Regina Dominican at 2:00 p.m. on December 28th. Regina Dominican will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive. Niles North won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Niles West at 12:00 p.m. on December 28th. Niles West will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
