Volleyball Recap: Riverview Sarasota Now 3-1 over Last Four Games

Riverview Sarasota won the last time they faced Sarasota and Tara Stults did her part to make sure it happened again. The Rams came out on top against the Sailors by a score of 3-1 on Thursday thanks in part to Stults, who had 32 assists and four digs. She is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 14 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Riverview Sarasota was especially dominant in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 28-26, 25-13, 20-25, 25-22.

When it comes to explaining why Sarasota lost, don't look at Rylan Miller. Despite the final result, she had 37 assists and eight digs. The team also got some help courtesy of Mikala Moon, who had 16 digs and three assists.

Riverview Sarasota has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-7 record this season. As for Sarasota, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-12.

Riverview Sarasota wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Weeki Wachee on the 26th. As for Sarasota, they will head out on the road to challenge Saint Stephen's Episcopal at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
