It was a good run, but  the Camden County Wildcats unfortunately witnessed the end of their  three-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a  52-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lowndes. The  defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Camden County in their matchups with Lowndes: they've now lost nine in a row.
 Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Dasmine Cooper, who  scored four points along with five  rebounds.  Kaniyah Patterson was another key contributor,  scoring nine points along with three  steals.
 Lowndes was led to victory by  Aryana Thomas and  Kaci Demps.  Thomas  scored 16 points along with seven  rebounds, while  Demps  scored 17 points along with four  steals. Thomas has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last three times she's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kayla Jackson, who  scored six points along with five  steals.
 Camden County's loss dropped their record down to 17-4. As for Lowndes, they pushed their record up to 13-3 with that  win, which was their third straight  on the road.
 Camden County will  square off against Colquitt County at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Lowndes, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Valdosta at 6:00  p.m.  on Saturday.
