Lincoln has won ten straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Lowell has won ten straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Thursday. The Mustangs will welcome the Cardinals at 3:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
On Tuesday, Lincoln got the win against Burton by a conclusive 17-1. The win continues a trend for the Mustangs in their matchups with the Pumas: they've now won five in a row.

Jala Chi made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out eight batters over 3.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Those eight strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also solid in the batter's box, earning two runs and four stolen bases. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged two or more in each of the last three games she's played.
In other batting news, Lincoln got a massive performance out of Brienna Tsui, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, five RBI, and one run. Those five RBI gave Tsui a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ventura Van-Zandt, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, two doubles, and one stolen base.
Meanwhile, Lowell made easy work of Balboa on Tuesday and carried off a 9-1 victory.
Not much got past Kaylee Kline, who gave up just a hit and racked up 16 Ks to keep Balboa off the board.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Celine Chen, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.
Lowell's win bumped their record up to 15-5. As for Lincoln, their victory bumped their record up to 12-6.
Thursday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Lincoln hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .391. However, it's not like Lowell struggles in that department as they've averaged .394. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Lincoln might still be hurting after the 12-1 loss they got from Lowell when the teams last played back in April. Will the Mustangs have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the match for a full breakdown of the game, commentary, and other softball content.
