On Friday Phebe Kiefer struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. The performance marked the most strikeouts Kiefer has had since back in March of 2024. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was her fourth in a row with more than six strikeouts. This season, she has an ERA of 1.40 over 15 innings pitched.
