The Wright City Lumberjax stacked a 16th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 68-35 win over Valliant on the road. With Wright City ahead 39-15 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Madison Carter continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 20 points along with eight rebounds and seven assists. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last five times she's played. Ali Gibson was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with two blocks.
Wright City pushed their record up to 23-2 with that victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Valliant, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-12.
Wright City does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Valliant, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Broken Bow at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Broken Bow will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Valliant surely won't give up without a fight.
