After a string of five wins, Mercer's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Hickory Hornets by a score of 3-2. Coming up, Mercer will square off against Franklin at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hickory, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Eisenhower at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
