Castilleja will square off against a team with plenty of momentum: King's Academy extended their winning streak to four on Thursday. The Knights blew past Priory 3-0.
The final score came out to 25-13, 25-12, 25-16.
Castilleja won the last time they faced Eastside College Prep and Aria Feitelberg did her part to make sure it happened again. The Gators blew past the Panthers 3-0 on Thursday for which the team can thank Feitelberg, who had 19 digs and three aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 16 or more in each of the last five games she's played.
Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Castilleja took every set by at least 14 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-10, 25-11.
King's Academy's victory bumped their record up to 17-8. As for Castilleja, the win got them back to even at 8-8.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Tuesday's match: King's Academy has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 9.3 aces per game. However, it's not like Castilleja struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7.2 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
