Lafayette Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight  loss. They lost to the Skipstone Academy Warriors at home  by a   66-47 margin. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  74-50  back in January.
 It was another big night for  Scooter Barkley, who  posted 35 points for Skipstone Academy. That makes it 13 consecutive games in which  Barkley has scored at least a third of Skipstone Academy's points.  Ayden Brumbalow was another key player,  putting up 11  points.
Lafayette Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Skipstone Academy, they moved to 9-9 with that  victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.
 Lafayette Christian and Flint River Academy will face off  at 5:30  p.m.  on Tuesday without much rest having both just played. As for Skipstone Academy, they will face off against Trinity Christian School of Griffin at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Skipstone Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
