Rochester's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ella McCarter, who scored 11 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Rylee Clevenger, who scored 13 points.
Southwood's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Gracie Lambert, who scored 8 points along with 8 rebounds.
The victory got Rochester back to even at 5-5. As for Southwood, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rochester will take on Argos at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Southwood, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mississinewa at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
