After a string of three wins, the Inland Lakes Bulldogs's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They lost to Bellaire at home by a decisive 62-48 margin. If Inland Lakes hoped to take revenge for the 59-50 loss against they when the teams met, then they were left disappointed.
When it comes to explaining why Inland Lakes lost, one person who can't be blamed is Sam Schoonmaker. Despite the final result, he scored 16 points along with three steals. Another player making a difference was Aidan Fenstermaker, who scored 11 points along with two steals.
