Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Pickerington Central couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They had to suffer through a 39-7 loss at the hands of the Olentangy Orange Pioneers. The Tigers' defeat signaled the end of their nine-game winning streak.

Rocco Williams threw for 84 yards on ten of 24 attempts. KD Smith was his top target, picking up 29 receiving yards. On the ground, Edmund McAllister III rushed for 53 yards.

Pickerington Central's loss dropped their record down to 11-2. As for Olentangy Orange, they pushed their record up to 13-0 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home.

As of now, neither Pickerington Central nor the Pioneers have any future games scheduled.
