The Chesterton Trojans's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Lake Central Indians at 7:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. One thing working in Chesterton's favor is that they have posted at least 55  points  in their last four matches.
 Last Saturday, Chesterton got the win against Plymouth  by a conclusive  62-38. The Trojans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five  contests by 24  points or more this season.
  Kenedi Bradley was  her usual excellent self,  going 6 for 10 en route to 18 points plus six  rebounds and two  steals. She has been hot , having  posted two or more  steals the last eight times she's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Allison Van Kley, who  had ten points in addition to three  steals.
 Chesterton  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 12  offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least ten  offensive rebounds in seven consecutive  games  dating back to last season.
 Meanwhile, Lake Central came up short against Hammond Central on Saturday and fell  45-37.
 Chesterton pushed their record up to 5-1 with the  victory, which was their third straight  on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 62.0 points per game. As for Lake Central, they now  have a losing record at 2-3.
 Chesterton was dealt a bruising  68-33 loss at the hands of Lake Central in their previous matchup  back in November of 2023. That  matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Chesterton was down  33-11.
