Basketball Recap: Graphics Skates Past Rustin with Ease

Graphics entered their tilt with Rustin on Friday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They blew past Rustin 81-52. Graphics has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 25 points or more this season.

Graphics' win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.0 points per game. As for Rustin, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Graphics will challenge Stuyvesant at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Graphics knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Stuyvesant likes a good challenge. As for Rustin, they will square off against Norman Thomas at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Norman Thomas is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.6 points per game this season.
