Basketball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Sabine Pass

Sabine Pass had won two straight games and Devin Roberts did his part to make it three on Friday. The Sabine Pass Sharks put the hurt on the Danbury Panthers with a sharp 66-43 victory thanks in part to Roberts, who went 8 for 12 en route to 21 points and four steals. His evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Don Fowler was another key player, putting up six points and nine boards. He is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last three games he's played.

Sabine Pass has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a massive bump to their 11-12 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.9 points per game. As for Danbury, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 17-13.

Sabine Pass wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 49-41 win against Big Sandy on the 25th. Danbury has also already played their next game (against Deweyville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
