Keeton Jilek made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out 11 batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits (and only one walk). Jilek was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Malachi Thiel, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. That hit marked the first that he got this season. Landon Mesch was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-4.
