On Friday Cannon County will have to hit the road after three straight games at home. They will venture away from home to take on the Marion County Warriors at 7:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Last Friday, Cannon County humbled Cascade with a 48-21 victory.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Marion County). They breezed by Forrest at home to the tune of 63-17 last Friday. Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Marion County to victory, but perhaps none more so than Mason Mays, who rushed for 97 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries. The dominant performance gave Mays a new career-high in rushing yards. Tilton Pickett was another key player, rushing for 38 yards and two touchdowns.

Cannon County's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-3. As for Marion County, their record is now 6-2.
