Volleyball Recap: Ava Ingwell Key Part of Team Effort in Pointers Win

Mineral Point had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Cumberland Beavers on Wednesday. The Pointers were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Beavers, so the Pointers were just returning the favor.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Mineral Point to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ava Ingwell, who had eight digs.

Mineral Point has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Westby on the 27th. As for Cumberland, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Sparta on the 27th.
