On McNair's side, Kamryn Baser made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off three hits. Baser has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in ten consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-5 with three runs, two doubles, and two RBI. That's the most doubles she has posted since back in March.
In other batting news, Celina Valadez was incredible, getting on base in five of her seven plate appearances with three stolen bases, six RBI, and three runs. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played.
