Northwestern lost against Norwayne back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Huskies fell just short of the Bobcats by a score of 9-7. On the bright side, the seven- run performance marked the Huskies' highest-scoring contest to date.

Northwestern's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Norwayne, their victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-4.

While Northwestern had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
