The biggest upset of the week belonged to Klein Oak, who defeated 185th ranked Klein, 24-21.
The Panthers moved up to 200 from 246 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 5A Region II District 13. Klein Oak was able to move up by topping the Bearkats 24-21.
Westfield's William Dedon and Donovan Thompson have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Dedon has thrown for 541 yards this season, while Thompson has 11 catches for 235 yards. Dekaney's Demarcus Felton leads the league in rushing yards with 928.
In 112 carries Felton has put up 928 yards this year.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when David Smith's team takes on Atascocita. As it stands, the Panthers are in fourth, while the Eagles are in third.
Klein Oak made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 1,715 from 2,222. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 24-21 victory over Klein last week.
