Thomasville posted their closest win since September 5, 2024 on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Taylor County Vikings, sneaking past 2-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bulldogs also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Thomasville who won the one that mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 18-25, 15-9.

Kamryn Shokat paced Thomasville's offense, picking up six kills. Shokat got some help from Adalee King and her ten assists. Shokat was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Thomasville pushed their record up to 9-8 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Taylor County, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 12-1.
