Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Maclay). Their defense stepped up to hand the Suwannee Bulldogs a 12-0 shutout on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Marauders, who have now won eight games by three goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting Suwannee from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Luke Daunt led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by himself.

The victory keeps them at an undefeated 9-0-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 28 goals over those four contests. As for Suwannee, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-8-1.

Maclay has already played their next matchup, a 12-0 win against Marianna on the 11th. As for Suwannee, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Columbia on the 11th.
