It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Wagner had no problem doing just that  on Tuesday. They blew past the McCook Central/Montrose Fighting Cougars 3-0. The  victory was a breath of fresh air for the Red Raiders as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
 Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-22,  25-23.
  Ravyn Medricky paced Wagner's offense, picking up 15 kills. Medricky got some help from 
 Braxton Nedved and her 28 assists. 
 Hannah Holzbauer controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
 The  win  got Wagner back to even at 15-15. As for McCook Central/Montrose, they dropped their record down to 6-22 with the  loss, which was their 11th straight  on the road.
 Wagner will take on Hanson at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Hanson will roll in looking for their  13th straight  victory, something Wagner surely won't give up without a fight. McCook Central/Montrose does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
